SiN is a first-person shooter game. One of SiN's famous faults were horrendously long loading times, as much as two minutes or more each time the player started or restarted a level.

Gabe has been sitting in front of his computer for a long time, so long that Tycho notes that he's gone out for errands and returned in the meantime. As it turns out, Gabe has been waiting for a level of SiN to load up. Both the loading and Tycho's errand have taken so absurdly long that Gabe has both developed psychic abilities and knit a sweater; the latter would take several hours, and the former (if it weren't fictional) would most likely take weeks of intense concentration, even months.

[Gabe is sitting behind a computer staring at the screen while Tycho is standing behind him looking over his shoulder]

Tycho: You haven't moved an inch since I left! What the hell have you been doing?

Gabe: I'm waiting for this Sin level to load.

[Both are still in the same positions]

Gabe: I've had time to harness my latent psychic ability.

Tycho: Really?

[Tycho is levitating, only his legs are visible, while Gabe is still behind the computer]

Gabe: {holds out a sweater identical to the one Tycho is wearing} I also knit you this sweater.

I added an explanation and fleshed out the transcript a little more. I added descriptions of the panels (it seems like transcripts are mostly for blind people who use a reader. The reader can't describe the panels unless we do). I'm unfamiliar with Sin, so some personal experience with its long load times would help with finalizing the explanation. But the coding on the wiki needs to change. I notice that while editing the transcript, each person's dialogue is nicely on its own line, but when displaying it the wiki only honours blank lines, each panel's words are lumped into one paragraph - though that might be because I'm on a 1st gen iPad which is therefore horribly out of date. Thanks for the introduction to this comic, seems right up my alley! - NiceGuy1 from xkcd (shame my login doesn't work here) :) 14:20, 6 July 2017 (EDT)

EDIT-Nope, transcript looks wrong on my Windows 7 computer's up-to-date Firefox as well. - NiceGuy1 15:15, 6 July 2017 (EDT)

Link to a review of the game mentioned: https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/sin-review/1900-2533057/ It says the game took two minutes to reload the map every time you died. ASCII-only (talk) 03:00, 20 July 2017 (EDT)

But why did he just give him the sweater he was already wearing?
